The
large lounge has plenty of arm chairs and sofas with
patio windows to
the front, oak beams and thick stone walls.

large English TV, and a cd player

Down
stairs is also one large double bed room, whist on the first floor is
another double room, with its own e suite shower room with a toilet,
plus two twin rooms and a family bath room. All finished to a high

The cottage is a short
Drive from the d Day beaches and the historic sites from the battle of
Normandy. The local village has its own museum which tells the story of
the liberation of the area, which is well worth a visit. The drive to
the coast takes you through small villages, and along country lanes,
with apple farms to visit and try the local cider, and cheese makers,
and even a pigeon farm. all open to the public.
The River Vire runs close by, and we can recommend a days canoeing on
the River where you travel up to 12km down stream before a welcome
return by coach to your car. You get to see the stunning river valley,
and descend the small rapids and weirs on route.
There is a adventure park only 2 miles away, with the worlds first
permanent bungee jump, a 100km an hour zip line down the river valley,
and a testing tree top climb which teenagers will love. several
visitors to us have paid a few euros to bungee jump, which is not for
the faint hearted. jumping takes place every day in the summer, and
large crowds go just to watch, and enjoy the bar and restaurant on site.
France is famous for its markets , and the local towns have good ones
to visit, plus excellent family restaurants to enjoy the local fare.
In the cottage is plenty of tourist information to ensure a memorable
holiday for the whole family
