This beautiful rural gite was completely renovated in the winter of 2007, and now has 3 bed rooms, a new kitchen, new bathroom, and has an aboveground swimming pool and English satellite TV

The inside of the gite has been finished to a high standard. Down stairs is a large lounge with plenty of arm chairs and sofas, and you can watch English satellite TV or listen to a Cd, or read one of the books we have for you.
The kitchen is all new and should have everything you need , including a dishwasher

Upstairs there are three bed rooms, arranged as a double room, a bunk bed room, and a family room, with a double bed and two more bunk beds. The gite sleeps up to 8. The bathroom is all new with a bath and shower.

The Old Creamery is in a quiet rural spot, yet only 3.5km from the busy market town of Tessy Sur Vire which has a full range of shops and services. The river Vire is close by, and is perfect for walking cycling, and you can hire a canoe for a lively 10km trip down river, an excellent day out for the family, from the centre at Pont Farcy just 3km away.
Normandy is famous for its cider and apple brandy, and you should visit one of the local farms which welcome visitors to taste the local brew!. You are just a short drive from the D Day beaches, and the various museums and memorials which remember the troubled times during the second world war. Each village on your drive to the beaches has its own story to tell of its liberation in the summer of 1944 after D Day.
In the gite we have lots of information on places to go and things to see for all the family. the only problem will be fitting it all in.
